End of Year Celebration

Hello! I am a 3rd grade teacher at Cardinal. I started teaching 2nd grade at McKinley in 2011 and have loved it ever since! I grew up in Connecticut with my twin sister and older brother. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History and Master’s degree in Elementary Education from University of Mary Washington. Then, I completed a Reading Specialist program at George Mason University and an arts integration certification through the Kennedy Center. I am also a Seesaw Ambassador. I was honored as McKinley’s Teacher of the Year for 2018-2019! At school, I am the Kaleidoscope Liaison and PTA Liaison. Some of my favorite things include riding horses, reading, spending time with friends, and gardening. I have a German Shepherd named Hans at home. At Cardinal, you can find me in room 326!

Our first Kaleidoscope buddies was awesome with our 1st grade friends in Mr. Pesesky’s class! Sept was all about creative movement with cooperation, taking turns, listening, and using all of our bodies in interesting ways! @chbrowncardelem @McKKaleidoscope
