My name is Shannon Brandt and I am so excited to be joining Cardinal this year! I have been teaching since 2013. I started off teaching first grade in Fairfax County Public Schools before coming to Arlington and teaching third grade at Nottingham Elementary School. I took the 2021-2022 school year off to stay home with my daughter, Emma.  I grew up in the Northern Virginia area. I attended Christopher Newport University for my undergraduate and graduate degree. I love spending time with my family and friends, the beach, going on long walks, trying new restaurants, and practicing yoga.
