Meet the Counselors
Christina Quinn
Teacher
My name is Christina Quinn. I am the counselor for Kindergarten, Second Grade, and Fourth Grade. This is my second year working at Cardinal, but I joined the McKinley/ Cardinal community 12 years earlier, when my oldest daughter started Kindergarten, and I am so happy to be able to remain a part of the amazing Cardinal community. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Duke University and my Master’s Degree in school counseling from George Mason University. I worked for many years as a child protection lawyer before changing careers. I love that I can work with children every day on developing empathy and compassion, regulating emotions, friendship skills, and so much more. I live nearby with my three daughters, my two cats, and my husband. In my free time, I try to travel as much as possible, and I enjoy reading, working in my garden, and taking long hikes.
